Notch made Minicraft in 48 hours for Ludum Dare in 2011. It plays like a 2D version of Minecraft. You wake up on an island, punch trees, dig down into caves, and find a staircase to fight the Air Wizard in the sky.

A guy named konchunas ported it to the PSP ten years ago. It worked, but it had issues. Koutsie (hi) modernized it and here we are.

The game is built with the modern PSPSDK now. It doesn't crash anymore (hopefully). The lag during the final boss fight is gone. The screen scales right so you can actually see what's going on around you.

There are new things to do, too. You can save your game. You can craft torches to see in the dark (in addition to lanterns). There are cold biomes with snow, ice, and frozen zombies and slimes if you explore far enough. And there are over 50 achievements to unlock!
